Using our 'Cable Finder' is the easiest way to find the perfect Peugeot iON charging cable for your needs:
Do you require a Coiled or Straight Cable?
Our coiled cables can provide a cleaner, easier charging experience. As each cable is tightly wound it is less likely to trail along the floor whilst in use. This prevents dirt and grit from the ground making its way into your vehicle when the cable is stowed, although it can make the cable quite 'bulky' and sometimes a straight cable can be more easily stowed within a vehicle tight on space.
They can also save space when used in a semi-permanent environment such as a home charging point as can be easily 'hung' without the need to first coil the cable.
It is worth noting however that due to the tight coiling the maximum reach of a coiled cable can be up to 20% less than the stated cable length and at these lengths the cable will also be under some tension.
Key Points:
Our straight cables are great for taking out and about, as they can be wound 'flat' they can take up considerably less space in your vehicle. Whilst the longer lengths are likely to trail along the ground when in use, many people prefer this as the cable is out of the way and not stretched against the side of the vehicle.
As straight cables are under no tension the full length can also be utilised without putting any strain on either of the connectors.
It is worth noting however that whether at home or out and about, handling a straight cable can be more cumbersome than the equivalent length coiled variety.
